Welcome to Gravity Switch. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive and store the following:

• Unique identifier (User ID) — a unique account identifier provided by the authentication provider
• Display name — the name associated with your account (if provided)
• Email address — used for account identification
• Authentication provider — whether you signed in via Google or Apple

If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, we only receive the private relay email address that Apple provides.

Guest Accounts

You can play Gravity Switch without signing in. Guest accounts generate a random identifier stored locally on your device. No personal information is collected for guest players.

Game Data

We collect gameplay data to power leaderboards, missions, and progression:

• High scores and score history
• Distance traveled and coins earned
• Number of gravity switches and near misses
• Run count and daily mission progress
• Purchased skins and trail effects

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the game experience:

• App launch and session duration
• Feature usage (e.g., which screens are visited)
• Crash reports and error logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Account management — to create and maintain your account, enable sign-in, and sync progress across devices
• Leaderboards — to display your scores and rankings to other players
• Game progression — to track your coins, unlocked items, daily missions, and achievements
• Service improvement — to analyze usage patterns and improve the game
• Security — to detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and unauthorized access

3. Third-Party Authentication

Google Sign-In

When you choose to sign in with Google, the authentication is handled by Google's OAuth 2.0 service. We receive a limited profile (user ID, display name, and email) upon successful authentication. We do not have access to your Google password or other Google account data.

Apple Sign-In

When you choose to sign in with Apple, authentication is handled by Apple's Sign In with Apple service. You may choose to share or hide your email address. If you use "Hide My Email," Apple generates a unique, random email address that forwards to your personal email — we never see your real email address.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement the following security measures:

• All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
• Authentication tokens are cryptographically signed and have expiration dates
• Database access is restricted and protected by firewalls
• Passwords are never stored — authentication is delegated to Google and Apple
• Rate limiting is applied to prevent abuse

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data may be visible to other players only in the following ways:

• Leaderboards — your display name (or nickname) and scores are shown on public leaderboards
• Rankings — your rank position is visible to other players

We do not share your email address, authentication provider details, or any other personal data with other players or third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can contact us (see below), and we will remove your data within 30 days.

Anonymous analytics data may be retained in aggregated form even after account deletion.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request corrections to inaccurate data
• Deletion — request the deletion of your account and data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out — you can sign out and continue playing as a guest at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Gravity Switch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete the information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
